University of Central Florida (UCF) is a part of the State University System of Florida and currently the largest public university in the United States (by enrollment). It was founded in 1963, centred on space technology, but has grown to have more than 230 degree programs in its 13 constituent colleges, and students from over 150 countries. It is ranked 79th among Public Universities and the 16th Most Innovative School by US News. With over 200 fields of study and over 20 labs and research centres, several of its graduate programs are also among the top 100 nationally. It is reputed for its industry partnerships with Boeing, Disney, Siemens and corporate-supported centres such as Texas Instruments Innovation Lab and Blackstone Launchpad. With over 400 student organizations ranging from sports, cultural groups and community service groups, students get a rich campus experience during their academic life at UCF.
