Founded over 170 years ago in 1850, University of Dayton is a private research university in Dayton, Ohio. It is the second largest private university in Ohio and has a campus spanning 388 acres, on both sides of the Great Miami river. It is a top tier research university, and also boasts a 51 million dollar research centre by GE Aviation.
